Strategic steps for Successful Speaking:-

       You have only two ways to express your ideas.
  • Writing.
  • Talking.
         By far the majority of your ideas are expected by talking.Everyone should learn to talk well weather on a person-to-person basis or before groups.Persons who have the ability to speak with conviction and enthusiasm are admired.You can learn to speak logically,clearly, and sensibly. 

  1. Person-to-Person:-

Steps for Successful Speaking | Communication,Interview & E-Commerce Guide.If You are a good listener,you know how to respond verbally and non-verbally when talking with others.What you say reflects our personality.You can make people like or dislike you.You come across as knowledge or poorly informed.People accept or reject you by what you say and how you say it.The next time you are engaged in a person-to-person conversation,try these suggestion:-




  •   When You are Talking:-

  1. Have something to say.
  2. Use words understandable to the listener.
  3. Repeat statement for clarification.
  4. Summarize main ideas.
  5. Use Listener's name or "You".
  6. Answer Question Frankly when possible.
  7. Show a sense of humor offending.
  8. Give listener to chance to talk.
  9. Encourage Listener to talk.
  10. Use pleasant tone of voice.
  11. Speak at a moderate rate.
  12. Be sincere and natural.
  13. Be interesting.

  • When the Other Person is Talking:-

  1. be a good listener.
  2. Maintain eye-contact with the speaker.
  3. Use verbal reinforces like "Yes" and "I agree".
  4. Don't judge the speaker through verbal and non-verbal responses.
  5. Occasionally nod head in approval.
  6. Have a pleasant facial expression.
  7. Show interest.
  8. Do not Look or turn away from the Speaker.
  9. Don't interrupt.
  10. Focus thoughts on speaker's ideas,not on our response.
  for Person-to-Person communication to be most effective you need a good listening environment.A pleasant,quiet setting conversation.Choose a time when both of you can give full attention to the conversation.Be willing to discontinue the conservation and reschedule you meeting if either of you becomes upset or there are too many interruptions.
